Aries Full Moon

leave space for magic
A destructive force enters a forgotten field.
Slashing and burning through the neglected,
overgrown brush
a field of malcontent.
Relationships, situations, and habitual patterns run amuck
left unpruned, strewn in corners, seeds left to rot that persist.
Machete in one hand, torch in the other —
the field must be cleansed
the debris purged for something new.
Purifying.
Fire is creative
and destructive
left unwieldy, unskillfully contained
the damage can be irreparable.
To nurture fire, guide, and control the element
offers potent space for the unborn to flourish.
Before you burn it all down
Envision what you want to see become
Before you set fire to the prize
have a tactic in mind
and consider what means to what end
when deciding to make room for a vision
ask whether it is in the right relationship for you and all involved
or just your ego impulse to change quickly which you can no longer ignore?
Foolish acts of faith are required to pursue our truth
or our desire.
To be authentic
means to corrode years of rusted
oxidation
build-up
accrued from years of giving up on our shine.
This Full Moon in Aries looks like a game of cat’s cradle that went all wrong.
Tactics and routines and patterns and habits and shortcuts have turned into a tangly mess.
Good thing Saturn in Pisces, our (nearly unaspected) fisher king, is here to meticulously untie the knots of our hurried mess, a line gone out to cast left neglected to the waves and winds of time.
The Sun and Moon on the Aries/Libra axis asks us to have a beautiful vision and then be brutal in actualizing it.
Venus and Mars in sextile is generative fuel, like a seed to soil, like the fusion of heart and mind in conscious action.
Pluto is in the corner doing his low hum, a drummer keeping the rhythm to all of this change. Mercury trine to Uranus, Mercury to Pluto in trine, we have some space to do some jazzing, to improvise, and feel the pulse of our curious drive.
Uranus is exactly square to Venus, our round three quest for liberation, for evaluating our higher ideals, our values, and what vision we see possible in our guts and loins.
Pursue yourself and your vision with the tenacity of a lustful lover.
NOTES FROM THIS ONE…
there are some things we cannot power our way through.
we, humans, have this silly belief we can dominate anything we set our solar plexus to.
Some of us really love to dominate when we don’t get our way.
And some of us really like to subordinate because we may not know what we want, or may think we don’t deserve it.
Hello, Aries-Libra.
Welcome to Eclipse season.
We are kicking off karmic undertow with this lunation. Childhood sh*t, relationship sh*t, and undealt with sh*t are all still there, like that hidden dustpile, swept under the carpet to deal with later on.
That dust lump may not be seen, but it does not go unnoticed in your psyche.
The universe wants us to pursue our truest, bravest, and most authentic version of ourselves. Sure, we compromise, that is part of the human deal… but when we undermine our own purpose— our human entitlement to take up space and do our thing, to do our creative mastery— we suffocate.
I don’t want that for you.
You don’t want that for you.
But we make choices, and we live with them. There are consequences from earlier versions of you. Maybe you are living with some burden, something that is so human and so forgivable that you should really just let it go.
Some things are things we love and care about and tend to regardless of their roots in our lives. Our children. Our beloved hound dog that you met on Tinder. Our ridiculous collection of houseplants. A home. A bunch of stuff. Physical stuff. Abstract stuff.
We got stuff.
We got stuff that at some point we wanted.
You are the one who must discern what you are committed to, what is important, and what responsibilities are yours to hold.
The rest you can burn, figuratively. Seriously, this is not an arson moon. This is a metaphor moon of clearing your garden. Making space for new growth, more space for you.
Aries has a limited fuse. So use this time wisely.
stay inspired,
