Reiki is a Japanese word that embodies a concept Western tradition and language seemingly have forgotten. Rei (life force) ki (energy) can be understood as Universal Life Force Energy.

Ursidae’s translation of Reiki would be Trust.

All beings work with this energy-- consciously or unconsciously. To practice and embody a relationship with Reiki/Life Force Energy is to reconnect with the intelligent life force that permeates all that exists. It is innate. This is a re-awakening and a re-establishment of connection and intention to work with the world and your life as it is.

Join me in collectively creating sacred space to share, unfold, unravel, learn, and reconnect with this indestructible part of your nature, connected and reflective of all life everywhere.

This weekend will include the history of Reiki as we know it today in the West, discourse on the what, how, and why of working with universal life energy, consent, use of etheric clearing tools to responsibly work with energy, the traditional precepts and principles of Reiki, self-treatment and other in-depth instruction and soulful storytelling. All students will receive a manual as well as give/receive a full-body treatment and receive instructions on practitioner ethics.

Initiation will include four attunements to Reiki energy which, to my understanding, are best provided approximately 6-8 hours apart and done consecutively and in person if possible.
